Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where can I find a pair like yours?

I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick .
How expensive are they?
When I bought my pair in spring, I paid $385.43, but their standard price is over $500.
You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.
How does the sizing run?
I’d say they fit true to women golden goose sneakers size, based on my pair.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
Is the comfort worth it?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in..
Do they hold up well?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also be smart.

I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair. Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
Are they comfortable?
They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they help with airflow. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Also, they’re already distressed so your feet just get comfortable fast.
Do they hold up well?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
